Unfortunately, we get numerous phone calls and visits to our store every day because of infidelity.  If you are in this situation, there a few things you can do yourself before hiring a private investigator.

First, buy a digital voice-activated recorder.  Many customers buy a recorder and hide it in a room or vehicle that their spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend is going to be in.  Be careful though, that may be illegal in your state.  Find out what the law says in your state so that you do not get in trouble for eavesdropping.

Second, you can put a GPS historical logger on the vehicle.  Real-time devices are available, but historical loggers are much more cost effective.  Put a device such as our Super TrackStick on the vehicle for about a week, retrieve it, plug it into the computer and see where they've been going.

Third, put a keyboard keylogger or a computer surveillance software on the computer that they use.  If they use a laptop computer, a keylogger will not work for you because it will be visible.
